Jill Billingsley is a Canadian illustrator/animator graduating from CSULB. With a unique background in wrestling, modeling, and writing, Los Angeles City College was able to wrangle her into a graphic design position. She is now harnessing her energy into designing logos for campus organizations, creating posters and flyers, curating a social media presence for the college, and video editing. She has published two books, “It’s All Perspective” and “Mr. E’s Catastrophes,” created the “Kevin Credible” YouTube series, and designed skate decks before finding her love of animation.
With a healthy addiction to pranks, Jill redirects that attention to her love of illustration and animation. While working in a daycare, she discovered that children are the perfect weights to accompany her daily workout. The kids laughed at the idea of being bench-pressed; she delighted at the idea of being paid to make kids laugh. Thus, a new addiction was born, making children laugh. The first book she wrote was about a cat who inadvertently is responsible for the greatest works of art, and the other about a boy who loves to fart. When Jill is not creating art, or attempting the latest fitness trend, she can be found wearing her kitten as a scarf. Her deep appreciation for Canadian fashion is strong.
